The bridal industry today is populated by many independent retailers who manage their stores under very competitive conditions. Yet there is no one industry organization that represents the majority of independent bridal retailers.
Full service bridal shops form a vital element of our industry. The help they provide to brides, bridesmaids and their families makes their wedding day that much more special. But in today's price-conscious world, it's easy to lose sight of the value of service.
Wedding-Dresses.com is here to help get the message out: Full service bridal consultants and shops deliver essential services to everyone who's planning a wedding.
This directory began in 2005 as FullServiceBridalShops.com, a directory of local bridal shops. It was moved to the domain Wedding-Dresses.com in 2009, and continues our commitment to full service for brides and bridal parties!
A Full Service Bridal Shop or "FSBS" is defined as a retailer who owns a legally registered business in the US, Canada or the UK and has relationships (accounts) with at least 5 manufacturers in the bridal apparel industry.
We've created a 'service mark' for stores to put on their web sites to indicate that they are indeed a full service retailer with valid business credentials.
Shops that display the 'Full Service' mark, with a correct link to our web site, on their web sites or in print have applied for it and have been approved by our review board.

Becoming A Member: Retail Stores
Membership in Wedding-Dresses.com entitles you to use the FSBS 'Full Service' mark on your web site and in print. The FSBS mark shows potential customers your dedication to good service and your reputation as an established retailer. To become a member you must apply and be approved by Wedding-Dresses.com. To submit your store, navigate to the page for your province or state and look for the link to "Submit Your Store". You must have accounts with at least five manufacturers in the bridal apparel industry, or else carry the line of a manufacturer participating in the FSBS program.
Manufacturers
Manufacturers can provide blanket membership to all retailers who carry their lines. Contact us to inquire about the FSBS manufacturers program.
